Troy, a former Marine, started his insurance career in 1988 with a small debit company in Maryland selling life insurance door to door. 

He joined New York Life Insurance Company as a direct appointment Sales Manager in 1997.  He qualified for the Partners Meeting every year after his first year.  Troy's best year was 2000, where he finished as the #2 Sales Manager in the Country with over 500K FYC in his unit.  In the year 2001, Troy finished #1 in the country in the Sales Manager Summit.  On Sept. 10, 2001, he was promoted to Senior Partner of the New Jersey General Office.  Troy was promoted to Managing Partner in the Valley Forge G.O. in January 2003.

Troy was a Financial Adviser with Eagle Strategies LLC, A Registered Investment Advisor. In this capacity he provided financial planning seminars.  Troy is a Registered Representative with NYLIFE Securities LLC. He holds several FINRA securities licences, inluding Series 7, 24, 65, and 63.  He also has his Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations. 

On a personal note, Troy enjoys running to relieve stress and has completed four marathons to date.  His most recent finish was the New York City Marathon in November 2002. 

Troy lives in Wayne, PA with his wife, Beth, of 18 years, and their three children, Alexandra, Austin, and Rachel.
